This class is intended to cater for one body style, taps into the huge choice of bodies, and is for the following chassis: Autoworld Super III, Tomy SG+, Life-Like T and M chassis, Rokar X, Tomy Turbo/Irwin Turbo+, Tyco/Mattel chassis. Bodies must be of a shape & colour scheme matching a real Nascar that has raced (not just practiced). Tomy SG+: Must be run with unmodified 'red' Tomy armature. Brush housing electrical tabs may be reshaped but no material removed or added. Brush housing, motor brace, bearing & motor magnets must not be altered. Traction magnet clip must be fitted and be totally unaltered. Pickup springs, shoes and busses must be original Tomy only, they may be reshaped but no material may be added or removed. Guide pin must be original Tomy SG+ item, no material may be added. Wear must be by natural means only. Pinion must be original Tomy item, no material may be removed or added. Mo material may be added or removed, additional spacers are permitted. Front tyres must be original Super III items & may be re-profiled. Tyres must be single compound and black in colour. 'Pro' is open class. 'Mod' is intended for 'Toy' based chassis with their original magnets and still using hard bodies, with freedom to play with gears, axles etc. Rules for both classes: If there are less than 4 entries to both Pro Mod and Mod, the classes will be combined for purposes of the finals. In this instance, the highest place Mod finisher will score maximum points for the Mod class, and also get Pro Mod points. If there are four (or more) of both, finals will be separated. No motor bearings allowed. Electrical tabs may be reshaped but no material removed or added. One guide device per car. Axles may be any make, but must be metal. Tyres must be single compound and black in colour. Sidewall writing and detailing based on real racing tyres is permitted. Tyres may be re-profiled. O-rings may be used as front tyres. Bodies must be closed-wheel, and based on a real race car. Where wings were featured on the real car, they must be present. Bodies must feature accurate or at least prototypical race car colour schemes. Windows should be clear or painted to contrast with body. Maximum 2 traction magnets and two motor magnets per car.
